Join (me) Peter Miller, Providence Art Club Exhibit on Sunday, October 16 from 2-4pm for a festive opening reception to celebrate my exciting prednisone new exhibition.

From October 16 – November 4, 2016, the show 3 Artists, 3 Visions displays 18 of my recent images in the Maxwell Mays Galleries along with works by painter Nick Paciorek, and collage artist Bill Comeau (in the Castelnovo Gallery). Mary Kosowski will have a retrospective in the Dodge House Gallery.

My images are are prednisone ruminations on man and place, habitats and habitants, random encounters, and the infinite details of the visible world.

I use the camera with a painter’s approach. My scenes are selected and composed by sight and intuition, without the confines of the cameras viewfinder. The capture of the panoramic scene is a very controlled and deliberate process — the images are comprised of multiple exposures composited together in post-production. A hyper-realist panoramic composition is the result, with every detail rendered from foreground to background. The images reveal an expanded field of vision with classic perspective projections and vanishing points nizagara that emulate a 12×12 view camera.
